Over the past two days, Brothers Russell Graf ('13) and Jomo Lashley ('11) had their commencement ceremonies at the University of Hartford. Russell received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications-Public Relations and Advertising while Jomo received his Master of Architecture degree. We wish the two of you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Stay true to colors, Brothers!
What a year it has been for our fraternity! The 2012-2013 school year proved to be very progressive for the chapter. In the past year we attended Northeast Regional Conclave in Syracuse, nine new Brothers were initiated, we hosted our first ever Car Smash for philanthropy, and we won the Academic Excellence awards for the past two semesters. We look forward to Centennial this summer in New York and even more so we look forward to the future of this chapter and what lies on the road ahead.
This past weekend was a busy one for the Eta Upsilon Chapter. To start off, May 4th was our Formal at Sakura Gardens. Brothers dressed to impress and were surrounded by beautiful dates. Superlatives were given out, ranging from "Brother of the Year" to "Most Outgoing" to "Best Dancer" and of course "Best Dressed" (Stromo! Stromo! Stromo!...). It was the time of our lives and we can't wait till next semester's Semi-Formal!

Then on May 5th, the chapter hosted a philanthropy event called "AEPi Car Smash" at the Sports Center Parking Lot. All of the funds raised, whether it was through swings of the hammer or through donations, went to M.A.D.D. Attendance was great despite it being our chapter's first big philanthropy event in years. We hope to continue to build our success as we continue to build as a chapter.
